About PHBS

We aim to provide the best training for talented, motivated children of all ages. Primrose Hill Ballet endeavours to make their students become more aware of themselves, their skills, abilities, interests and values. We will encourage all students to develop and flourish in a happy supportive environment, directing natural talents to grow, supporting life skills and developing creativity. We feel that liaison between arts and the home is a very important one and we do all in our power to foster this relationship. No matter what course you eventually choose – Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz or Musical Theatre - it will be an enjoyable experience, a healthy activity that increases self-discipline and self-confidence & hopefully giving a lifetime of enjoyment and fun. 

Weekday Ballet classes are based on the syllabus of the R.A.D. and encompass the age range from 3 to 18 years. Yearly examinations are taken from 5 years of age upwards and more than 100 pupils each year successfully achieve Distinctions & High Merits in both R.A.D Ballet and I.S.T.D Modern and Tap. Several pupils from the Primrose Hill Ballet School now attend the Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden, London Children’s Ballet & WLSD.  

 Classes take place at Swiss Cottage Community Centre, The Winch, Wac Arts In Belsize Park & Henderson Court in Hampstead. The studios are equipped with sprung floors, mirrors and ballet bares.
